Vario Bell 412
Not a complete build, but a project still of interest and a first for us, fitting a set of Goblin mechanics into a Vario fuselage designed
for Skyfox mechanics.
The mechanics fitted with the
East Coast Vario drop down gearbox.
Early stages of lining up the mechanics just to see
how everything will fit and to check clearances.
The original woodwork for the Skyfox
mechanics was already in place and so this was
utilised to mount the drop down gearbox.
With the mechanics mounted and a cabin floor in place it makes a large area for adding
a scale interior.
The next stage was to fit a slightly longer main shaft, four blade head and upgrade to all metal gearing.
Trim and fit the front doors and fit a rear
bulkhead at the back of the cabin.
The owner is going to add a weapons system
and other scale detailing, so as far as we are
concerned for this build
